Holiday Acres is pleased to host HOMESCHOOL DAY

Friday, December 13th, 2024

10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Limited Seating - Bring a lawn chair

NO RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR HOMESCHOOL DAY!

NO MINIMUM GROUP SIZE FOR HOMESCHOOL DAY! You don't even have to be in a group!

Come as a group or come as a family - Come when you like and leave when you like.

All activities will be available throughout the day!

While at Holiday Acres, your children will enjoy:

  • Hayride - runs periodically throughout the day. One hayride per person. Last hayride at 3:30 p.m.

  • Complimentary hot chocolate

  • Dress a Farmer - build a scarecrow

  • Texas snowball fights

  • Campfire (we will provide roasting sticks if you would like to bring marshmallows to roast)

  • Decorate a living tree

  • Games

  • Texas sledding

  • Hay maze

  • Covered Picnic Pavilion

  • Natural Play Area

  • Farm Animals

Come when you'd like, and stay as long as you'd like. All activities will be available throughout the day.

You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch. Soft drinks and bottled water are available for purchase. Picnic table space is limited, so you may wish to bring a lawn chair for adults. Children should wear closed toe shoes at the farm. Please supervise them as they play, ride the hayride, and particularly around the campfire so that everyone stays safe.

PRICING:

$8 + tax per person age 3 and above, including parents
Maximum $25 + tax per family (residing in same home)

Regular field trips are limited to 2 hours, but on Homeschool Day, you are welcome to stay all day.

Professional photography with paid reservation only. You are welcome to bring props and take photos at the farm, but other guests will not be restricted from any areas of the tree farm, and it may be difficult to get photos without people in the background. You may not drive in close to drop off props. Only bring what you can carry.

The farm will be open for Christmas tree cutting on Homeschool Day.
